What we see same day, and what to do right now
While you're on your way, or waiting for us to open.
- Severe toothache
- Rinse with warm salt water and take your usual pain reliever as directed. Don't put aspirin on the gum, it burns the tissue. Pain that keeps you up at night usually means infection, so call.
- Chipped or broken tooth
- Save any pieces in a clean container. Rinse gently and hold a cold compress on the cheek for swelling. Skip hard or hot foods until we've seen it.
- Knocked-out tooth
- Pick it up by the crown, not the root. Keep it in milk or tucked inside your cheek and call right away. The first hour matters most.
- Lost filling or crown
- Keep the crown if you have it and bring it in. Chew on the other side until we see you.
- Swelling or abscess
- Cold compress on the outside of the cheek. If swelling spreads toward your eye or neck, or you have trouble breathing or swallowing, go to the ER first.
- Wisdom tooth pain
- Salt water rinses and soft food until we can take a look. It won't settle on its own, so call.
- Cracked or broken denture
- Bring every piece. Don't try to glue it, most home repairs make it unrepairable.
- Something else hurts
- If it's in your mouth and it hurts, it counts. Call and describe it, we'll tell you what to do next.

We accept most major PPO dental plans, including Delta Dental, Cigna and Aetna. Tell us your plan on the phone and we'll verify your benefits before you arrive.
No insurance?
You're welcome here. Self-pay patients are seen the same day as everyone else, and payment plans are available. Ask about the No Strings Smile Plan, the in-house membership for patients without insurance.
$59 emergency exam + X-ray, with or without insurance. New patients.
One thing we can't do
We are not able to accept Medicaid. If Medicaid is your only coverage, we're not the right fit and we'd rather tell you now than after you drive over.

We hold emergency slots every day we're open. Call when we open and in most cases you're seen the same day, often within a few hours.
I'm not a patient here. Can I still come in?
Yes. Most of our emergency patients are new to us. There's no paperwork to do before you call.
Will it hurt?
The first job is getting you comfortable. The area is numbed before anything is done, and sedation is available if you're anxious about the dentist.
What if I can't afford it?
Say so on the phone. Self-pay is welcome, payment plans are available, and you'll get the cost before any treatment starts, so there are no surprises.
Do you take Medicaid?
No. We accept most major PPO plans and self-pay patients.
